The race for the cufflink pennant

Saturday, September 10th, 2011

As the fall season begins, most people tend to concentrate on football. They are busy getting ready for tailgating parties and fantasy football leagues. But even though the cooler weather is on its way in, the baseball season is just starting to heat up. The NFL season may just be getting started, but major league baseball playoffs are about to get underway. The pennant race is on, and many MLB teams are in the running while others are simply fighting for a playoff spot. Every baseball fan knows that the major league baseball season is a long one. It starts in April and ends in November, depending on how long the playoff games last. But most diehard baseball fans look forward to September and October with reckless abandon. Advancing to the playoffs is one thing, but winning the pennant for a division is a glorious achievement.

There are connoisseurs everywhere you look these days. Some connoisseurs have a sophisticated palette, and they enjoy eating at fancy restaurants and tasting upscale foods. Other connoisseurs collect bottles of wine, and they appreciate the subtleties of different blends. A connoisseur is someone who has a great deal of knowledge and appreciation for something sophisticated and revered, such as food, wine and fine art. Most connoisseurs are eager to share that knowledge with anyone who will listen. (Too bad there’s not a category for a connoisseur of football.) If you are a connoisseur of something, why not take a look at our selection of Connoisseur Cufflinks? We have a wide array of sophisticated Connoisseur Cufflinks to choose from, including these beautiful and classic Mona Lisa Cufflinks.

Hunting season is right around the corner

Monday, September 5th, 2011

Since fall is on the horizon that means that hunting season is right around the corner. Hunters always look forward to fall because it gives them the opportunity to get out in the woods and hunt for different kinds of game. For some guys, hunting is just as enjoyable as going to a football game. For others … not so much. If you’re a hunter, then you’re probably an outdoorsy kind of guy who likes getting his hands dirty. You probably aren’t up-to-date on the latest cufflink fashions and designs, either. This also means that you probably aren’t aware that there are novelty cufflinks for guys just like you. We have a selection of Hunting and Fishing Cufflinks that are perfect for any hunter or fisherman. Just because you enjoy casting a fishing line in the middle of a muddy river or hiking through the woods in camouflage doesn’t mean that you can’t ditch the fishing pole or shotgun and exchange them for a pair of cufflinks every once and a while.

Recent earthquakes keep firemen on their toes

Monday, September 5th, 2011

In the span of 24 hours, there were two sizable earthquakes in the United States. First, there was one in southern Colorado that shook the ground in throughout Denver and surrounding cities. Then, to the surprise of many, an earthquake happened in Virginia. While earthquakes are quite common in California and other western states, many people were shocked by the fact that there was an earthquake on the east coast. But it’s not the first time that there was an earthquake in the great state of Virginia. The last one happened over a century ago. Does that mean that more earthquakes are on their way in the next couple of days? No one knows for sure, but that is exactly the reason why so many firemen on their toes. Firemen are brave individuals, because they rush into dangerous situations without thinking of their own safety. Their primary goal is to help others. Firemen don’t sit in a cushy office all day, wearing a fancy tie and shiny pair of cufflinks.
